With the popularity of the vampire movies and televisions shows, you may want to organize a party dedicated to these mysterious creatures. To throw a vampire-themed party requires lots of preparation including the decoration, invitation, food and the activities. Now let’s talk about it step by step.
First, decorate the party room by draping black fabric over windows to protect the vampires from harmful sunlight and hanging red balloons and streamers adorned with bat stickers along the ceiling and doorways. Adorn room corners with faux spider webs. Create table centerpieces by placing black floating candles in shallow bowls of water turned red with drops of food coloring.
Second, create your invitations by making them shaped like a bat. After your invitation finished, write the unnecessary information on it such as when and where as well as the requirements that all guests must come in vampire costume.
Third, prepare vampire-themed beverages like blood red fruit punch, tomato juice or a red-colored sport drink. Cut finger sandwiches and cheese slices with bat-shaped cookie cutters and serve red salsa with red and blue-black tortilla chips. Anyway, all food and beverages should accord with the horror vampire atmosphere.
At last, play vampire-themed games for prizes like vampire-themed movies and books. Start a hot potato-inspired game that requires players to toss a head of garlic to one another as classical music player in the background. When the music stops, the player holding the garlic is out. Continue playing until only one vampire remains.
